Battery Change Out

I have attached a photo of the double battery setup that’s currently in my 96 Jasper, any suggestions on what batteries to get to replace these? They are completely dead and they don’t seem to want to hold a charge (though I could absolutely be doing it wrong). Any suggestions would be appreciated, thank ya in advance.

When I replaced my dual battery setup I went with 2 Optima Red Tops (https://a.co/d/bZP4Ywl) and haven’t looked back since. They work fantastic for cold starts and the combine CCA (Cold Cranking Amps) you get from 2 of those puppies are pretty great. Here are a few pics of my setup.

You will pry need some plastic washers or something to fill the space as the Optima’s are quite a bit smaller than the old Japanese batteries I took out of it. Do NOT OVER TIGHTEN the battery tray holder too as it will break it at the bottom tray, some rubber at the bottom of the batteries will help hold them in place better.
