Thank you! I may well get in touch when I'm a bit further down the dismantling madness!

Thank you - useful info and that makes sense re spring removal.

    New leaf spring install

The manual also seems to refer to underneath the spring hanger mount itself, I wonder if that would work for just removing the axle at least:

    New leaf spring install

Thanks all. This is really helpful - particularly photos! Yep, I have seen those points referenced in the manual. The trouble is, I have - or have had - some corrosion issues around there so am pretty wary of them, and regardless would be keen to do some cleaning/re-painting around those areas...

    New leaf spring install

Hi! Sorry I realise this is an old thread now but missed it at the time - this is a very useful reference to have indeed, really excellent information and photos. Thank you much appreciated! (Potentially silly) question - I desperately need to remove my rear axle to clean/de-rust, as well as...

    Wet floor fix...

For future reference and in case it helps others (this is an awful problem!) - In addition to all of the "usual suspects" places for potential leaks into the footwell, here's a +1 that I haven't seen mentioned. After checking all of the places mentioned above, AND re-sealing the seal in the...

L300 power steering pump hose retaining nut

Hi all Can any one here tell me the specs (particularly thread/pitch size) of the nut that holds the pressure line onto the power steering pump on an L300? Part number 48989 on the image below? I'm going to have to find a replacement, as much to my embarrassment I am afraid I may have made it...

    L300 Crystal Lite Project

This is fantastic! Thanks to Luke to pointing me to this post... My roof looks pretty much exactly like that minus the plastic... I was expecting I would need to pay a welder to weld in fresh metal but your panel bonding approach is very interesting indeed... It all looks really flush - great...
